SCREE FEST SPRUCE TIP IPA– ABV 6.4%
We don’t like to toot our own horn…but we will with this one. This award-winning brew earned third place for People’s Choice Best beer, AND helped Onsite take second place for People’s Choice best brewery at the 2020 Fur Rondy Beer Fest! Woo-Hoo! This beer was designed to be unlike any spruce tip beer you’ve ever tasted. It’s brewed with whole Sitka Spruce tips, experimental HBC-472 hops, and Kveik yeast (a centuries-old Norwegian farmhouse yeast). Expect a nice creamy body with a complex flavor profile. It begins slightly piney with a hint of blueberry, moving to a coconut middle, and ending with an oak bourbon barrel/woody finish. Close your eyes and wander through the great Northern forests with this unique beer.
SUMMIT DAY SMASH IPA- ABV 6.7%
S.M.A.S.H- Brewed using a Single Malt & single hop. This was designed to be a celebration of Mosaic hops and it turned out amazingly. Amazing dankness to the nose with an incredibly hazy and juicy mouthfeel that’s bursting with the flavors of blueberry, mango, and citrus. A perfect way to celebrate your successful summit day! GOLDEN WHEAT ALE– ABV 8%
This was a fun experiment of a beer. Our goal was to develop a recipe centered around a cereal that was part of everyone’s childhood! So we used 12 boxes of Frosted Mini-Wheats in our 2bbl batch. All that frosted sugar goodness raised the alcohol more than we expected, but it turned out great and was fun to create! Expect a pleasant clean-flavored, light-bodied brew, with a hint of honey sweetness on the front of the palette, balanced by a slight bitterness in the finish. To add an extra depth, this beer was conditioned on Tahitian vanilla beans.
CHOCOLATE STOUT– ABV 10%
This beer was naturally carbonated and brewed under pressure using a Spunding valve. This leads to a rich, creamy head and mouthfeel as if it were poured on nitro. Hops are getting all the glory nowadays for flavor. However, this beer is a showcase of all things grain! We used no milk sugar and zero chocolate making this stout. The chocolate flavor was created using malts and only malts. Sit back and indulge in the chocolatey-ness. Yum!
PANDÆMONIUM– ABV 6.4%
This is our first beer made during the craziness of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic. This is a hazy IPA brewed using Medusa hops and dry-hopped with Citra and Motueka. This is a complex flavor profile with an assertive bitterness, smoothed out with an ample amount of oats. Expect flavors of mango, malts, citrus, melon and a hint of alfalfa.
LIL’ CRUSHER KÖLSCH– ABV 5.2%
This is a deliciously crisp beer! We used Hallertau Blanc hops in this one instead of the standard Hallertau usually found in this style. This lends a unique white wine grape flavor and finish with the perfect amount of bitterness. Made to enjoy on a warm day at the climbing crag.
PEAK BAGGER PALE ALE– ABV 7%
Just because this is a pale ale, don’t expect there to be a lack of hop character or ABV. We wanted to break the rules of what a pale ale is. It has a light straw color and an aroma that can only be described as pure dankness. A combination of Azacca Cryo, Hallertau Blanc, Motueka, and Rakau hops were used to create this beauty. It is a nice change from the hazy IPAs while still maintaining the full hop character that we all love with a crisp dry finish. To “bag those peaks” sometimes you have to bend the rules!
COFFEE IPA– ABV 6.4%
Don’t let your eyes fool you with this mind-bending IPA! Its light color is different than what you might expect. How was this achieved? Lots of batches brewed, playing with various malt combinations and methods of adding the coffee. From the first sniff, you will instantly know you are enjoying a coffee beer. You’ll then get hit with a balanced hoppiness that is commonly found in most West Coast IPAs. It ends with a final parting touch of coffee. Non-IPA drinkers beware: this IPA converts even the most hop-adverse beer drinkers with its ability to blend the hop-bitterness with the coffee bitterness in an ideal melding. Local Kaladi Brother’s coffee was purchased for this one. For the future batches of this beer, we are tossing around the idea of reusing the beans to create an Onsite cold brew coffee. JALAPEÑO KÖLSCH– ABV 5.2%
One of the most refreshing beers we have ever made! It has the perfect balance of pepper flavor and the clean crispness of a Kölsch. The aroma of Jalapēno is amazing too! There is not too much spice so you can sip on this all day in the warm summer heat. A great lawnmower beer!
BRUT SESSION “PAL” ALE– ABV 4.9%
This Beer was made with Mosaic Cryo so expect a delicious aroma and taste of blackberry. It was crafted to be as similar to a Champagne as we could get a beer. Light in color, effervescent, and deliciously dry to the finish. A great beer to drink with your pals.
Winter fades away with your raccoon eye tan earned from epic days out. The snow gives way to summer sun and more amazing days to come. Sit back, relax in your sunburnt memories! This Hazy Ipa is a tropical delight. brewed with Citra and Galaxy hops. Hazy rays of sunshine in a glass.
Sometimes great decisions happen without thinking too much. This is a crisp & refreshing Alaskan Pre-Prohibition Lager, Brewed with Hallertau Blanc hops.
SPICY MOVES JALAPEÑO KÖLSCH
Refreshing summer Kölsch brewed using 5lbs of fresh Jalapeños per barrel. This beer starts with the nose of Jalapeño and as you sip leads to a gentle spiciness and subtle jalapeño flavor that slowly builds. It has a white wine-like character derived from the Hallertau Blanc hops.
